Missing Days and Loved Ones

It has been awhile since I posted. Sometimes I walk around in a fog. I miss my mom and dad. Many times I wish so much that I could talk to them. Life is hard. They made life so very good for us and we did not realize it. I remember so many wonderful Christmas times and Easter times. Halloween was a favorite. My brother Arnold and I used to take pillowcases and go out all day. We would come back with more candy than we could eat in a year. But it was so much fun. We would come home and dump it in one big bowl. Life was so very good. What happened? Where did it all go? I sometimes feel so very lost.

We had this wonderful great uncle who used to take us places. Uncle Frank and Aunt Edna were the last of the original Casey family. They were there for us. They were there for mom growing up. She told me when she was 16 Uncle Frank showed up at the door with candy and flowers for her. He never married and never had any children of his own but he took care of all the family and their kids. A wonderful man!
